Ways to Donate to STAR
Thank you for being the power behind our work.
We could not do what we do without your support.
Combined Federal Campaign
Each year, federal civilian, postal, and military personnel donate millions of dollars to charity through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Pledges are made during CFC season (September 9 to January 15). Check with your human resources department to learn more about this opportunity. STAR’s Federal CFC organization code is 30049.
Workplace Giving
Workplace giving campaigns allow employees to make regular donations to nonprofits through payroll deduction. Workplace giving campaigns are the simplest, most efficient and effective way to help causes you care about. LEARN MORE HERE.
Pick. Click. Give.
Consider investing in STAR by designating a portion of your Permanent Fund Dividend to support our Direct Service, Community Education and Prevention programs. A little goes a long way!

In-Kind Donations
New clothing, underwear, winter hats & gloves, bedding, journals, and personal hygiene items are the greatest need.
"In Kind" gifts of goods, services, and expertise are always welcome at STAR. Items in new condition can be dropped off at STAR (1057 West Fireweed Lane, Suite 230) during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
If you have questions about donating items, call us at (907) 276-7279 or email [email protected].
Legacy Gifts
Including STAR in your estate plan helps to secure the future of our organization and ensures that comprehensive crisis intervention, advocacy, prevention & education programs and healing services are available to survivors in our community. A simple bequest or gifts of life insurance or retirement plan assets can offer you and your loved ones tax or other financial benefits while also benefiting survivors for years to come.
