The mission of STAR is to provide the best quality of crisis intervention, education and advocacy services to victims of sexual assault and abuse; their families and our community.

 Long Term Goal: 2006-2015

Alaska ranks in the lowest percentile of rapes per capita nationally

Short Term Goal: 2006-2010

Goal #1       Provide sustainable and adequate funding to support the mission of STAR.

Goal #2       Develop an efficient and effective organizational structure that maintains the current level of service to STAR clients.

Goal #3       Obtain a facility that allows the efficient delivery of service to those in need.
