Donations

Thank you for considering a donation to STAR! Your tax deductible donation goes directly towards...
  • supporting  victims of sexual assalut, incest and child sexual abuse

STAR continues a legacy of assistance to victims not only in Anchorage but in many other Alaska communities.

The core of STAR's support services is our crisis line. This vital resource is available statewide 24 houes a day, 7days a week, every day of the year.

Alaska has the highest rate of rape per capita of any state in the nation. The work to provide support to all victims seeking assistance can be a daunting undertaking, but through generous community support STAR can meet this challenge and provide comprehensive and compassionate victim services.

Soon, we shall have brief (and anonymous) testimonials from those who have been helped by STAR here on this page.

Many of STAR's critical services are only made possible by donations. Your donation can make a vital difference in a victim's life. We welcome all donations; everything helps.

There are several ways a person can give:

  1. one time gifts
  2. periodic gifts
  3. fund-raisers

If you are unable to make a financial donation, or would like to become more atively involved at STAR, please consider volunteering on our crisis line. The time and talent contributed by our volunteers is an invaluable resource. For more information online please click on "volunteers" on the homepage.
