To promote the sexual and reproductive health for men and women through:
  • direct clinical services that prevent unintended pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections     
  • health education presentations     
  • professional staff training  

Confidential Services: 

  • Counseling for Responsible Healthy Choices     
  • Annual Exams     
  • Sexually Transmitted Infection Evaluation and Treatment    
  • Contraception      
  • Pregnancy Tests      
  • Blood Draws for HIV, Hepatitis and Syphilis      
  • Referrals     
  • Followup of Abnormal Pap Smears     
  • Partner Notification 

Costs: 
Sliding fee based on income and family size.  Insurance and Medicaid accepted.  No one is refused service due to inability to pay.  Donations are accepted.

Clinic Hours: 
Appointments are encouraged.  Walk-in clients are offered the next available appointment that meets their needs.  To make an appointment, please call (907) 343-4623.

STAR'S MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Standing Together Against Rape, Inc., (STAR) is to provide the best quality of crisis intervention, education and advocacy services to victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse, and their families and our community.

 

Rape victims can be male, female, young or old. If you have been raped and are hurting emotionally you do not need to be alone. We can help you thru a variety of support services. Call or drop by our office. Need to find us?
