Our Goals and Plans
STAR's Strategic Plan
On November 19, 2009 the Board of Directors of Standing Together Against Rape, Inc. (STAR) met and adopted overarching strategic goals for the organization for 2009 - 2015. On March 23 and March 24, 2010 the Board of Directors and staff met again to review the Board’s strategic goals, add additional goals developed with staff input and clarify outstanding issues in the original plan document.
As part of the process, both Board and staff analyzed the organizations strengths and weaknesses, reaffirmed the organizations vision, mission and purpose, and set a direction for enhancing strengths and overcoming challenges. The document provided here synthesizes that work and reflects the collective voice of Standing Together Against Rape, Inc.
