WE NEED YOUR HELP!

If you live in the city of Anchorage, you can help secure funding for STAR that can greatly benefit adults and children affected by sexual violence.
Approximately $15 million will soon be available over the next 5 years to the city of Anchorage and distributed based on high priority of need. For the first time, Standing Together Against Rape’s target population qualif...ies for funding through the Municipality of Anchorage’s Housing and Community Consolidated Plan. Click the form on the right for online completion.
To be eligible, the Municipality of Anchorage needs to hear from you that victims of sexual violence and their families are High Priority.
Ways to include STAR’s client population are quick and easy:
1. Complete the attached questionnaire and return it to the required location as per the
instructions no later than February 29, 2012.
2. You must be a resident of the Anchorage Municipality to participate (Eklutna to Girdwood).

Page 5, Emergency and non-emergency housing and transitional housing are a priority for STAR’s population. Please rate this need High Priority in all low income categories.
